‘aerial goes sky—bound’ launch


come and fly with us, we'll take you high above...

aerial, a new community radio station in aberdeen, takes flight on sunday 4th october

broadcasting live from the shores of the north sea and showcasing an array of local artists as they go sky-bound, tune in from 2pm to follow their journey into the e-zone, troposphere and the outer reaches of the milky way...

first flight, second footing ✰ e-zone gathering



e-zone here we come! rescheduled to sat 26th feb.

join us at D2 for our first physical event & fundraiser! we'll be raising funds to help keep the e-zone in operation so please donate what you can ❤️ cabin crew members will be in the control room all evening as we navigate our first flight and SECOND footing ⚔️ making way from the URL to the IRL. ⚔️

seatbelt signs have been switched off once more so there’s no need to sit down all night after all but, please! take care with fellow passengers and their surrounding (air)space where possible - boundaries!!!

first footing - In Scottish, Northern English, and Manx folklore, the first-foot (Scottish Gaelic: ciad-chuairt, Manx: quaaltagh/qualtagh) is the first person to enter the home of a household on New Year's Day and is seen as a bringer of good fortune for the coming year. Similar practices are also found in Greek and Georgian new year traditions.
